Viral Downloader is operated by the team behind viraldownloader.adxfuel.com. This policy explains what the app does with information, in plain language. It applies to this Android app.
The app has no accounts. We do not ask for your name, email address, phone number or any other identity.
When you paste or share a video link, the app sends that link to our resolver at viraldownloader.adxfuel.com so it can locate the media. Our server records the link, the platform, whether the request succeeded, and your IP address. These records exist to stop abuse of the service and to diagnose failures, and are kept only for as long as that requires. We do not sell them and we do not use them for advertising.
The app periodically fetches a small configuration file from our server. That request carries no personal information.
Downloaded videos are saved to your own gallery, in a folder named ViralDownloader, and never uploaded anywhere. The list of your downloads is stored only on your device. If the app includes an in-app browser, any session or cookies you create in it stay inside the app on your device and are never transmitted to us.
The app reads your clipboard only at the moment you tap the Paste button, and only to look for a link. It never reads the clipboard in the background.
Notifications: used only to show download progress and completion, and requested only after your first download starts. Storage (older Android versions only): used to save videos to your gallery. Internet: required to resolve and download.
The app may record anonymous usage and failure events, such as which platform a download failed on and how long it took. These never include the full link you pasted; only its general shape, with identifiers removed. They contain no name, email or device identifier.
This version of the app contains no advertising SDK and shows no ads. If ads are added in a future version, this policy will be updated and the app will ask you to accept the updated version before continuing.
The app is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect information from them.
You can delete any downloaded video from the app or your gallery at any time. Uninstalling the app removes everything it stored on your device. To ask about records held on our server, contact us through viraldownloader.adxfuel.com.
When this policy changes materially, the app will show the new version and ask you to accept it again.
